As the founder of Ascendant Bits Creative Digital, my greatest joy is building systems that help passionate people share their message. But some projects are more than just client work; they’re a true partnership. That’s the case with my work for Spiritual Canada, where I am not only a digital partner but also a proud member of their small, dedicated team.
In my dual role, I get to handle the technical side of things while being deeply involved in the mission. I set a task for myself. How could we amplify the profound energy of Kathy Upper’s Uncovering Spirituality podcast and expand its reach without creating excessive additional work for the team?
The answer was a mindful dance with technology. We developed a conscious, co-creative flow that helps us share each podcast to even more of the community. It’s a process I’m truly proud of, and today, I want to share not just the story but the exact prompts we use to make the magic happen.
The Seed of Creation: Pure Sound and Heartfelt Intention
Every creation at Spiritual Canada begins with their core intention. Kathy records the podcast (with guests) over Zoom, holding space for authentic dialogue. She then downloads the audio files from Zoom, combines and edits them in Audacity, and finally uploads them.
We upload the file to Spotify for Creators, which serves as our hub, syndicating the episode to other podcasting distribution platforms like Apple Podcasts and YouTube. This important first step ensures their conversations can find listeners anywhere. But the next stage is where our true innovation begins.
The Alchemical Transformation: Transmuting Voice into Written Word
The process truly ignites with the podcast platform’s automatic transcription. The accuracy of transcriptions is incredible these days! This simple text file becomes the fertile ground from which new creations blossom.
I introduced the team to ChatGPT and Google Gemini as AI creative partners. We’ve since refined a custom prompt that guides the AI to act as an extension of our team.
The Heart of the System: Our AI Prompts
To make this tangible for you, here are the actual prompts we use. We’ve found that giving the AI a specific persona and clear, structured instructions is the key to getting a soulful and useful result. Think of them as an apprentice in your practice. The more details you give your AI apprentice when giving them a task, the more the soul of your message will come across.
Example Prompt 1: The All-in-One Content Generation Prompt
This is the main prompt we feed to ChatGPT after pasting the entire, unedited podcast transcript below it. You can typically obtain your podcast’s transcript by downloading it or copying and pasting the text. With our syndication setup, Apple Podcasts automatically downloads new episodes and creates fairly accurate transcriptions.
“Hello ChatGPT. Please act as a content creator and social media manager for Spiritual Canada, a platform focused on mindfulness, connection, and authentic spiritual growth. Your tone should always be warm, inspiring, and insightful.
I am providing you with a full transcript of our latest podcast episode. Please do the following four things:
- Write a 1200-word blog post based on the transcript. It should have a compelling title, an engaging introduction, a body that explores the main themes and key takeaways, and a warm, concluding summary. Please weave at least 3-4 direct quotes from the speakers into the text to maintain their authentic voice.
- Create three distinct Facebook posts to promote the blog post and podcast episode.
- Post 1: An inspirational and reflective post.
- Post 2: A practical post that highlights a key learning from the episode.
- Post 3: A post with an engaging question for our community related to the topic. Each post should include relevant hashtags like #SpiritualCanada, #Mindfulness, #SpiritualGrowth, and #ConsciousConversation.
- Generate a descriptive prompt for an AI image generator like Midjourney or DALL-E. This prompt should visually capture the core essence of the episode. Think in terms of style, colour, mood, and subject matter (e.g., “serene watercolour,” “glowing energy,” “interconnected natural elements”).

The AI returns a beautifully structured first draft. This is where the human touch comes back in. I mindfully and respectfully edit the text, ensuring the energy is right and the original, unique essence is infused into every sentence. My system turned hours of work into a joyful act of refinement.
This trick isn’t just for podcasts with transcripts. Have you created YouTube content? Perhaps you have an online radio episode archive somewhere. These audio and video files are content goldmines that already use your tone and language. You can use the same prompt by changing what you use as your input. For example, with Google Gemini, you can refer to the YouTube channel name and video title. Your AI assistant will analyze this existing content and create the requested content instantly.
Envisioning the Message: Co-Creating with Light and Image
The image prompt generated by ChatGPT gives the team a fantastic starting point. For instance, for an episode on finding inner peace, the AI might suggest something like this:
Example Prompt 2: The AI Image Generator Prompt
“A serene and peaceful digital painting. A person is sitting in meditation at the edge of a calm, glassy lake in the Canadian Shield, granite rocks and pine trees around them. The person is subtly glowing from within, and their reflection in the water is a vibrant, intricate mandala. The colours are soft and ethereal, with gentle blues, greens, and a warm, golden light. The mood is one of deep tranquility and inner connection. –ar 16:9 –style expressive”
This allows them to create stunning, relevant visuals that are in perfect harmony with the topic using tools like ChatGPT and Midjourney.

The Beauty of a Conscious, Co-Creative Flow
Developing this process as part of the Spiritual Canada team has been incredibly rewarding. It’s exactly the kind of systems and solutions I love to create as part of my work at Ascendant Bits Creative Digital, proving that technology can serve our humanity and deepen our connection when used with intention.
The benefits are clear: Spiritual Canada has more time for their community and its important work, their message reaches further online, and it’s just a bit easier coming up with content with a repeatable marketing strategy. For me, it’s a living example of how thoughtful, custom digital systems can empower a mission-driven team to focus on what they do best—sharing their unique light with the world.
By pairing our deepest intentions with these incredible new tools, we can do more than just create content—we can consciously weave more light, love, and connection into the very fabric of our digital world!
